About MFF
Friendships are builT on trust. But what happens when that trust is nothing more than an illusion?
Welcome to MFF, where we unpack one of the most shocking betrayals of trust you’ll ever hear. This isn’t just another true crime story - it’s personal.
For nearly 15 years, I considered Fallon Ukpe one of my closest friends. We celebrated life’s biggest milestones together - graduations, birthdays, weddings. We supported each other through challenges, late-night brainstorms, and career shifts.
She was driven, and always had a good story to tell you.
But Fallon wasn’t who she claimed to be. Beneath her carefully crafted image was a web of deception, manipulation, and financial fraud that left a trail of betrayed friends and shattered trust.
“THe truth is, fraud doesn’t always look like a stranger in a dark alley.
sometimes it looks like the person sitting across from you at dinner.”

Why We’re Telling This Story
Fraud isn’t new, but victims rarely talk about it. The shame, the embarrassment, the disbelief—it keeps people silent. And that silence is exactly what allows deception to continue.
We’re changing that.
This isn’t just about what happened to me, and it didn’t just happen to me. Since sharing my story, I’ve discovered that Fallon Ukpe’s fraud extended far beyond me. She used friendship scams and deception to manipulate multiple people, leveraging trust for financial fraud and unpaid wages. All of this was happening while she continued to travel overseas and live as if nothing had happened.
MFF is about uncovering the tactics used by those who prey on trust, the red flags we miss, and how we can protect ourselves. Because the truth is, fraud doesn’t always look like a stranger in a dark alley. Sometimes, it looks like the person sitting across from you at dinner.
We’re pulling back the curtain on how con artists infiltrate personal relationships, manipulate emotions, and exploit generosity. We’ll explore the psychological tricks they use, hear from others who’ve faced similar betrayals, and break the stigma around being deceived. This isn’t just about one story. It’s about a pattern, a system of exploitation, and the people who are left to pick up the pieces.
